My remedy for that situation consists of a little brass plate that is a type of child-proof lock that goes on a doorway UP HIGH, away from little fingers. Lock the little ones into the likewise childproof nap room WITH you so the only mess that can be made is in THAT one room and nap with a remote control in hand and a kid-friendly video on tap........

Oh, and sick kids need Dimetapp----lots of Dimetapp, heh.

Dustin has an ear infection, and they both lost their opportunity to go to the lake this weekend. Possibly for the rest of the summer. It is NOT a good idea to lie down for a nap, even when the one year old is also napping, when you are on your own with two kids.
